Digital Graffiti

In this introduction to vector based artwork, students express themselves through a series of creative sketches that are then digitally rendered using Adobe Illustrator and/or Gravit.

By the end of this activity students will demonstrate a deeper understanding of:
-introduction to visual and digital storytelling
-branding, identity
-history of Graffiti from a media perspective
-rendering concepts from sketch to final digital vector formats
-skill using Illustrator/Gravit and similar vector editing programs
-rulers, guides, measurements
-layer pallet organization
-colour theory
-composition
-publishing to print and web using Adobe Creative Suite
