Grab your Twinkies while you can! Usually delivered just in time for Halloween, students use DSLR cameras, Photoshop and basics of measurement to create a before and after layout transforming themselves from normal everyday Huskies into ravenous, bloodthirsty Zombies! Students then prep their final files for web and print and walk away with a beautiful colour print keepsake from our Canon printer so they can remember what they looked like before they took Comm Tech! The undead never looked so ALIVE!

By the end of this activity students will demonstrate a deeper understanding of:

-intermediate photographic principles using DSLR cameras and specialty lenses
-studio lighting, tripods, green screens, studio safety
– vectoring creative typefaces in Illustrator
– typographic composition
-intermediate Photoshop blending techniques
– SFX and animation opportunities
– alternate draft creation
– publishing graphic art to print and web using the Adobe Creative Suite
